CREATE Group was honored to host Professor Gehan Amaratunga, Fellow of the UK’s Royal Academy of Engineering, Emeritus Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, and Professor at Zhejiang University, as well as a Shenzhen High-Level Talent, for a technical exchange.

During the visit, Professor Amaratunga toured the company’s headquarters and product showroom, where he explored CREATE’s latest innovation - the Breath Test Analyzer. The team demonstrated its working principles and expanding applications in digestive health screening and routine check-ups. This non-invasive technology supports gastroenterology diagnostics, health screenings, and hematology assessments, serving as a powerful tool for early detection and functional evaluation in clinical practice.

Professor Amaratunga expressed enthusiasm about the advancements in breath-based diagnostics, highlighting its transformative potential for non-invasive medicine. With his dual expertise as an academic leader and co-founder of multiple high-tech ventures, his interdisciplinary perspective closely resonates with CREATE Medical’s vision of merging cutting-edge engineering with life sciences.
